Sarah Mahmood joined Timbercreek in November 2021 as Senior Analyst, Finance & Operations.

In her current role as Manager, Finance, Ms. Mahmood is responsible for the day-to-day corporate accounting function including recording and reviewing financial and investment transactions, financial reports and supporting schedules.  She has also led initiatives that have resulted in more efficient processes and insightful financial packages.

Ms. Mahmood most recently worked for Fiera Infrastructure as Senior Accountant, where she was in charge of full cycle accounting of various funds holding assets in Canada, US and Europe, preparing financial statements quarterly and annually, and preparing management fee calculations, cash forecasts, capital calls, and notices for funds. Prior to this she worked for Brookfield Asset Management as Corporate Accountant and at Porter Airlines as Staff Accountant.

Ms. Mahmood obtained her Bachelor of Commerce from Rotman Commerce, University of Toronto, and successfully passed her CFE in 2023 and is a candidate to receive her CPA designation.
