In his role as Strategic Advisor to Timbercreek Alternatives, Andrew Barnicke will play an integral role in sourcing, negotiating, and closing direct real estate transactions that Timbercreek Alternatives is involved in. In this capacity, he will also sit on the Investment Committee that evaluates and approves investments made by Timbercreek Alternatives vehicles, including co-investment opportunities.

Mr. Barnicke is the Founder of Barnicke Investments and Consulting Ltd., a privately held private equity and advisory real estate company that focuses on value-add strategies. BIC and its clients actively invest in residential and commercial projects across Canada.

Mr. Barnicke has been involved in the commercial real estate industry for over 35 years and is currently on the investment committee of the Guardian Real Estate Fund, Chair of the Finance Committee of Catholic Cemeteries & Funeral Services, and Chair of Presentation Manor Retirement Home.

Mr. Barnicke spent more than 25 years in the real estate capital markets field holding senior management positions at J.J. Barnicke Ltd. and Vice Chairman at Colliers International. In these positions Mr. Barnicke has been involved in over $30 billion in property transactions, financings, and equity capital raises.

Mr. Barnicke graduated from the Ivey School of Business with a Bachelor of Business Administration.
