Michelle Adair
Vice President, Global Credit

Michelle Adair joined Timbercreek in January 2021 as Vice President, Global Credit.

In her role with Timbercreek, Ms. Adair is responsible for recommending debt investments and overseeing the structuring, underwriting, and credit quality of loans within the portfolio.

Ms. Adair has over 25 years of experience in the commercial real estate lending industry. Prior to joining Timbercreek, Ms. Adair worked at Community Trust Company as Manager, Commercial Lending. Before this, she worked as a Senior Underwriter for Canadian Mortgage Strategies & Investments and an Underwriter for Canada ICI.

Ms. Adair obtained her Bachelor of Commerce from The University of Guelph.

Andrew Barnicke
Principal, Timbercreek Capital

In his role as Principal to Timbercreek Capital, Andrew Barnicke will play an integral role in sourcing, negotiating, and closing direct real estate transactions that Timbercreek Capital is involved in. In this capacity, he will also sit on the Investment Committee that evaluates and approves investments made by Timbercreek Capital vehicles, including co-investment opportunities.

Mr. Barnicke is the Founder of Barnicke Investments and Consulting Ltd., a privately held private equity and advisory real estate company that focuses on value-add strategies. BIC and its clients actively invest in residential and commercial projects across Canada.

Mr. Barnicke has been involved in the commercial real estate industry for over 35 years and is currently on the investment committee of the Guardian Real Estate Fund, Chair of the Finance Committee of Catholic Cemeteries & Funeral Services, and Chair of Presentation Manor Retirement Home.

Mr. Barnicke spent more than 25 years in the real estate capital markets field holding senior management positions at J.J. Barnicke Ltd. and Vice Chairman at Colliers International. In these positions Mr. Barnicke has been involved in over $30 billion in property transactions, financings, and equity capital raises.

Mr. Barnicke graduated from the Ivey School of Business with a Bachelor of Business Administration.

Matthew Burbridge
Vice President, Capital Formation & Real Estate Investments

Mr. Burbridge joined Timbercreek in February 2026 as Vice President, Capital Formation & Real Estate Investments. In this role, Mr. Burbridge is responsible for capital formation, including fundraising and new business initiatives, while also focusing on the sourcing and execution of new real estate investment opportunities.

Mr. Burbridge has over 20 years of experience in real estate investment and capital markets. Prior to joining Timbercreek, he was Founder and Principal of Pembroke Pacific, where he advised institutional GPs on capital formation and investment strategy. He also served as Managing Director, Investments at Realstar Group and Director, Investments & Capital Markets at Redcar Properties in Los Angeles. Mr. Burbridge’s previous experience includes senior acquisitions roles with Rockefeller Group and Property Group Partners in New York City. He began his career at Colliers International before joining the Real Estate Group at TD Securities.

Mr. Burbridge holds a Master of Science in Real Estate Finance and Investment (with distinction) from New York University and an HBA from the Ivey Business School.

Lanny Cheung
Vice President, US Credit

Lanny Cheung joined Timbercreek in August 2020 as Associate Director.

In her current role as Vice President, US Credit, Ms. Cheung will be responsible for overseeing US credit team and activities including the underwriting, structuring, credit approval and funding of loans for Timbercreek’s US platform.

Prior to joining Timbercreek, Ms. Cheung worked for CPP Investments as an Associate, responsible for completing over $2.4 billion of senior and subordinated loans across multiple sectors and global geographies including the US, Brazil and Asia. Ms. Cheung led multiple workstreams in executing transactions from the initial deal review through to presenting investment recommendations to the credit committee, collaborating with borrowers, co-lenders, and other third parties. Before this, Ms. Cheung worked as an Analyst for Otera Capital and an Analyst for GE Capital Real Estate.

Ms. Cheung obtained her Bachelor of Mathematics from University of Waterloo and her Bachelor of Business Administration from Wilfrid Laurier University, and is a CFA.

Lucy Cockburn
Analyst, Credit

Lucy joined Timbercreek March 2025 as an Analyst, Credit.

In her role with Timbercreek, Ms. Cockburn will assist with the underwriting of potential loan investments, conducting initial due diligence reviews, market research and data analysis. Ms. Cockburn will also support the credit team by aiding with loan reviews and other asset management functions.

Ms. Cockburn has most recently worked for Stormont Partners as a Real Estate Investment Banking Analyst where she actively participated in the due diligence process, analysis of financial statements, preparation on CIMs, management of data rooms, and creation of investments memos. Prior to this, she worked as a Summer Analyst at both Stormont Partners and Burkett Asset Management.

Ms. Cockburn has obtained her Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) from Queen’s University.

Peter Cox
Associate Director, Origination – Ireland

Peter Cox joined Timbercreek in April 2019 as an Associate on the Irish Origination Team.

In his role with Timbercreek, Mr. Cox is responsible for origination, analysis, structuring and closing of debt opportunities along with market research, portfolio analysis, and managing the due diligence process.

Mr. Cox has 10+ years of experience in corporate and real estate finance. Prior to joining Timbercreek, Mr. Cox was a Relationship Manager in Ulster Bank Ireland DAC where he managed origination of new lending transactions for clients across semi-state/public sector, energy, infrastructure, manufacturing, and professional services sectors. Prior to this, Mr. Cox worked for IBRC Limited in the Specialized Asset Management division with a focus on the hotel and leisure sector.

Mr. Cox holds a Bachelor of Civil Law degree from University College Dublin. Mr. Cox is a qualified Practitioner of the Institute of Banking and holds a Professional Diploma in Corporate Banking Credit and Professional Certificate in Financial Advice.

Erik Dmytruk
Portfolio Manager, Direct Real Estate

Erik Dmytruk Joined Timbercreek in 2024 as Portfolio Manager with primary responsibility for the Palliser One investment.

Mr. Dmytruk has over two decades of global real estate investing experience, including extensive experience in acquisitions, development, tactical asset planning, leasing initiatives, JV arrangements, portfolio construction, corporate governance, and risk management.

Mr Dmytruk was formerly the Managing Director of Slate Securities, and Portfolio Manager of the flagship Slate Securities Real Estate Performance Trust, investing opportunistically in both public companies and private real estate.
Prior to joining Slate he was Director, Real Estate at Alberta Investment Management Corporation (AIMCo) focused on Retail, and Special Situations, leading innovative capital markets activities such as investment in public and private real estate companies, and portfolio debt issuance. Mr. Dmytruk was also previously responsible for investments in the industrial, multi-family, office, and hospitality sectors in Canada, the United States, and the UK.

Mr. Dmytruk started his career at AIMCo in 2003 and played an integral role in growing AIMCo’s real estate investments from a $2 billion domestic portfolio to more than $21 billion globally. Prior to joining AIMCo, he also competed briefly on the professional tennis circuit after earning Division 1 NCAA All-America status as a collegiate athlete.

Erik graduated with Honors from the University of California – Berkeley with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, and he is a CFA Charterholder

Preston Early
Vice President, Origination (Western US)

Preston Early joined Timbercreek in September 2023 as Vice President, Origination (Western US).

In his role with Timbercreek, Mr. Early is responsible for loan origination activity in the Western portion of the United States. This would include broker and borrower outreach, preliminary evaluation, and structuring and negotiation of both first mortgage and subordinate debt opportunities.

Mr. Early most recently worked for Regions Bank as Managing Director, Real Estate Capital Markets, where he was recruited to launch and head the firm’s S-CRE finance program for the southwest region, focusing on nationwide CMBS and bridge lending across the majority of asset classes including multifamily, industrial, office, self-storage, retail, hospitality, manufactured housing, student housing, and mixed use. Before this, he worked at Deutsche Bank Securities as Vice President, CRE Finance Deal Team.

Mr. Early obtained his Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from Furman University and his Master of Business Administration, Dual Concentration: Finance, Real Estate – Minor: Accounting from Southern Methodist University, Cox School of Business, and he is a CFA Charterholder.

James Griffith
Associate, Credit

James joined Timbercreek March 2025 as Associate, Credit.

In his role with Timbercreek, Mr. Griffith will assist with reviewing and qualifying loan and investment application on commercial real estate, preliminary underwriting of potential loan investments and compiling market information. Mr. Griffith will also contribute to asset management by reviewing and administering existing loan files.

Mr. Griffith has most recently worked for Brookfield Properties within the Asset Management division, overseeing the performance of the East Coast office portfolio, supporting valuation analysis, capital markets initiatives, dispositions, and portfolio management. Prior to this, Mr. Griffith worked as an Investment Analyst at Centurion Asset Management and before that at FullG Capital, helping to source and underwrite investment opportunities.

Mr. Griffith obtained his Bachelor of Arts, Political Science and Economics from The University of British Columbia.

Yanni Karos
Analyst, Direct Real Estate

Yanni Karos joined Timbercreek September 2025 as Analyst, Real Estate.

In his role with Timbercreek, Mr. Karos will assist with providing investment analysis (modelling) and research, portfolio reporting and deal analytics. Mr. Karos will also be supporting ongoing asset management and monitoring of investments.

Mr. Karos recently graduated from Wilfrid Laurier University where he obtained his Honours Bachelor of Arts Economics, Minor in History. Yanni has most recently worked at CAPREIT as an Intern, Strategic Finance. Prior to this he worked at AXIA Ventures Group as a Summer Analyst, Equity Research, and Finneo as an Associate, Business Development.

Stephen Kenny
Director, Origination – Ireland

Stephen Kenny joined Timbercreek in July 2017 and became an executive board member of Timbercreek Ireland in 2019.

In his role with Timbercreek, Mr. Kenny is responsible for originating debt investments in Ireland, liaising with fund investors and sourcing debt for the fund.

Mr. Kenny has 20+ years experience in the real estate lending industry. Prior to joining Timbercreek, Mr. Kenny worked at Ulster Bank where he was responsible for the banks’ exposure to listed real estate companies and residential developers. Mr. Kenny began his career at Anglo Irish Bank where he was a senior manager in the specialized lending division, managing high value exposure clients.

Mr. Kenny obtained his BComm from the National University of Ireland Galway and is a Qualified Financial Advisor.

Charles Lingren
Vice President, Origination (Western Canada)

Charles Lingren joined Timbercreek in May 2011 as Director, Origination.

In his current role as Vice President, Origination, Mr. Lingren is responsible for sourcing new and existing debt opportunities for the fund. As part of this role, Mr. Lingren works closely with clients, brokers and the Timbercreek credit team to ensure all new and existing debt opportunities fit the fund mandate.

Mr. Lingren has over 15 years of experience in the non-banking commercial real estate industry. Prior to joining Timbercreek, Mr. Lingren worked at Quest Commercial Mortgage as a Loans Manager. Prior to this, Mr. Lingren worked at PenCor Capital as an Analyst.

Mr. Lingren holds a Bachelors Degree from the University of Victoria and a Graduate Degree from the University of Calgary.

Patrick Maroney
Executive Director, Origination – United States | Country Head

Patrick Maroney joined Timbercreek in July 2018 as Executive Director, Origination – U.S. In his role, Mr. Maroney leads the U.S. debt team responsible for sourcing and managing direct debt investments for our various investment vehicles.

Mr. Maroney has over 20 years of experience in the commercial real estate industry. Prior to joining Timbercreek, he was Managing Director at Annaly Capital Management where he sourced, structured and closed approximately $1.2 billion in real estate loans secured by office and multifamily properties. Mr. Maroney has also held various positions at GE Capital Real Estate including credit, asset management and originations, with the most recent being a Senior Director in the Institutional Accounts Group focused on balance sheet lending.

Mr. Maroney holds a bachelor’s degree from Fordham University.

Geoff McTait
Managing Director, Origination – Canada, Head of Global Syndication

Geoff McTait joined Timbercreek in January 2019 as Executive Director, Head of Origination, Canada. In his current role as Managing Director, CDN Originations & Global Syndications, Mr. McTait leads the Canadian debt origination team and global syndications initiatives.

Mr. McTait has over 20 years’ commercial real estate lending experience. Prior to joining Timbercreek, he was SVP and Co-Head Debt Strategies at Fiera Properties where he focused on relationships and transactions, including new-business origination, underwriting and closing. Before this, Mr. McTait held origination leadership positions of increasing seniority at Blackstone and GE Capital Real Estate.

Mr. McTait holds an Honours Degree in Geography, Urban Development, from the University of Western Ontario. He is a Mortgage Agent, licensed with both FSCO (Ontario) and FICOM (B.C.) accreditations.

Eduard Mitsura
Vice President, Global Portfolio Management

Eduard Mitsura joined Timbercreek in September 2019 as Senior Associate, Global Debt Investments.

In his current role as Vice President, Global Portfolio Management, Mr. Mitsura is responsible for management of Timbercreek’s loan portfolio in Canada, the US and Ireland, including portfolio risk and asset allocation analysis, structuring debt opportunities, budgeting, forecasting, and supporting senior management in loan syndications, closing and servicing.

Mr. Mitsura has over ten years of real estate and finance experience, and prior to joining Timbercreek worked for TAKOL Real Estate and as an Associate Development Manager for Hines in Moscow. Prior to this, Mr. Mitsura worked as a Senior Financial Analyst, Capital Markets, for Jones Lang LaSalle and as a Senior Valuer for DTZ.

Mr. Mitsura holds a Master of Business Administration, Investment Banking Major, from the Rotman School of Management of the University of Toronto. During his real estate career, Mr. Mitsura gained and held a MRICS designation from the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS).

Branden Ngo
Senior Analyst, Credit

Branden Ngo joined Timbercreek November 2025

In his role with Timbercreek, Mr. Ngo will assist with the underwriting of potential loan investments, conducting initial due diligence reviews, market research and data analysis. Mr. Ngo will also support the credit team by aiding with loan reviews and other asset management functions. Mr. Ngo has most recently worked for Altree Developments as Finance & Investments, Senior Analyst where he managed financial analysis and investment support across nine development projects, and led two strategic land assemblies. Prior to this, Mr. Ngo worked as a Development Analyst at Fieldgate Commercial and as a Valuations Analyst at Colliers International.

Branden obtained his Bachelor of Business Administration, Finance) from Wilfrid Laurier University.

Geoffrey Ottinger
Associate Director, Credit

Geoffrey Ottinger joined Timbercreek in June 2022 as an Associate in Credit.

In his new role as Senior Associate, Credit, Mr. Ottinger will continue to underwrite and manage a substantial volume of transactions while expanding his responsibilities by collaborating with syndicate partners on individual loan opportunities and mentoring new team members. Mr. Ottinger consistently brings a high level of diligence and strong credit expertise to every lending opportunity, ensuring loans are properly structured and secured. His bilingual skills make him an essential part of Timbercreek’s success in Quebec, and he also contributes to managing files across Canada.

Before joining Timbercreek, Mr. Ottinger served as Senior Portfolio Manager, Syndication & Sponsor Coverage at Laurentian Bank of Canada, where he was responsible for providing deal recommendations to the executive committee, reviewing borrowers’ financial statements and reports, and managing a corporate portfolio of approximately 20 clients.

Mr. Ottinger holds a Bachelor of Business Administration with a Major in Finance from HEC Montreal.

Danny Quach
Vice President, Credit

Danny Quach joined Timbercreek in April 2020 as Senior Associate, Debt Investments.

In his current role as Director, Credit, Mr. Quach will take on greater responsibilities in overseeing the Canadian platforms loan underwriting, deal management and post closing asset management.

Mr. Quach most recently worked for BMO Capital Markets as an Associate, Corporate Banking – North American Real Estate where he was responsible for performing detailed due diligence in assessing loan application creditworthiness for new and existing secured/unsecured, revolving, term and construction facilities. Prior to this, Mr. Quach worked for HSBC Bank of Canada as a Portfolio Manager – Commercial Real Estate and First National Financial LP as an Analyst, Commercial Real Estate.

Mr. Quach obtained his MBA and Honours Bachelor of Arts from the University of Toronto.

Paul Roddy
Executive Director, Origination – Ireland | Country Head

Paul Roddy joined Timbercreek in May 2017 as Director, Origination and Head of Ireland to establish the Irish debt lending platform. Mr. Roddy is responsible for Timbercreek’s Irish business, focusing primarily on sourcing and structuring debt opportunities in Ireland.

Mr. Roddy has over 17 years of experience in commercial real estate and structured finance. Prior to joining Timbercreek, Mr. Roddy was Senior Vice President, Asset Management at Hudson Advisors and worked with IBRC in various roles including asset management and origination.

Mr. Roddy holds a Bachelor of Commerce and a Masters of Science from University College Dublin. Mr. Roddy is a Qualified Financial Advisor.

Scott Rowland
Chief Investment Officer

In his role as Chief Investment Officer, Scott Rowland is responsible for the development of investment strategies and processes, as well as the overall performance of Timbercreek’s portfolios.

Mr. Rowland has over 25 years of industry experience with roles including the Co-Head of Debt Strategies for Fiera Real Estate and the Managing Director for Blackstone’s debt business in Canada. During a 19-year career at GE Capital, Mr. Rowland held a variety of roles including credit underwriting, Asset Management Leader, Originations Leader and the Managing Director for Real Estate in Canada. Mr. Rowland is a leading Canadian non-bank lender, having been involved in over $25B of transactions across a wide variety of asset types and capital structures.

Mr. Rowland holds an Honours Bachelor of Commerce from McMaster University, and is registered as both a portfolio manager and mortgage broker.

Patrick Smith
Managing Director, Global Credit

Patrick Smith joined Timbercreek in September of 2012 as Director, Origination. In his current role as Managing Director, Head of Global Credit, he is in charge of leading the global underwriting, asset management, closing and loan servicing teams for the Canadian, U.S. and Irish debt platforms, and is responsible for all credit approvals. In his previous role as Executive Director, Global Credit, Canada, Mr. Smith lead the global underwriting team in support of origination and credit approval for the Canadian platform, as well as provided global asset management support by overseeing loan modifications, surveillance and reporting.

Mr. Smith has 20 years of experience in real estate finance and asset management. Prior to joining Timbercreek, Mr. Smith worked at Conundrum Capital as Director of Asset Management, responsible for the acquisition, financing and asset management of a commercial property portfolio. Prior to that, Mr. Smith worked at Merrill Lynch’s Canadian CMBS lending group for 10 years, holding progressively senior positions in origination, credit and structuring.

Mr. Smith holds a Bachelor of Arts from Western University and is a Licensed Mortgage Broker #M14000724.

Scott Steinel
Associate Director, US Origination

Scott Steinel joined Timbercreek in October 2021 as Associate Director, US Origination.

In his role with Timbercreek, Mr. Scott is responsible for assisting with origination activities, which include initial deal screens, risk assessment and portfolio monitoring/reporting for the US portfolio

Mr. Scott most recently worked for Emerald Creek Capital as Senior Associate where he was responsible for originating, underwriting, and conducting due diligence to close on commercial loans nationwide, and managed broker relationships with agencies across the United States. Prior to this he worked for Herio Capital as Associate, Client Services, and Financial Analyst.

Mr. Scott obtained his Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from Hofstra University.

Blair Tamblyn
Chief Executive Officer

In his role as CEO of Timbercreek Capital, Mr. Tamblyn is responsible for identifying strategic initiatives, managing global capital markets activities and general oversight of Timbercreek’s corporate operations. Mr. Tamblyn is also a member of the Investment Committee.

Mr. Tamblyn has over 25 years of experience in public and private capital markets and has led the origination, structuring, capitalization and execution of all public and private Timbercreek funds that currently manage ~$3 billion in assets. Prior to co-founding Timbercreek, Mr. Tamblyn worked at Connor, Clark & Company.

Mr. Tamblyn is an independent Director of and Chair of the Audit Committee of Parkit Enterprise Inc.

Mr. Tamblyn holds a Bachelor of Arts in History and Political Science from Western University. Mr. Tamblyn also completed the Board Effectiveness Program offered by Rotman and the Institute of Corporate Directors.

Simon Verdy
Vice President, Origination (Quebec & The Maritimes)

Simon Verdy joined Timbercreek in April 2021 as Vice President, Origination (Quebec & The Maritimes).

In his role with Timbercreek, Simon is responsible for sourcing new loan investment opportunities and building new borrower, broker, lender and investor relationships in Quebec and the Maritimes.

Mr. Verdy has over 18 years of commercial real estate lending experience. Prior to joining Timbercreek, he worked for First National as Assistant Vice President, Commercial Financing, where he provided multi-family and commercial financing for new acquisitions, renewals and construction projects. Before this, he worked as a Financial Analyst for Montrose Mortgage Corporation.

Mr. Verdy obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Finance and his Master’s degree in Financial Economics from HEC Montreal.

Isaac Zimmer
Vice President, Central Canada & CMHC Origination Lead

Isaac Zimmer joined Timbercreek in April 2019 as Senior Associate, Debt Investments.

In his current role as Vice President, Origination, Mr. Zimmer is responsible for supporting the existing Origination’s team in respect of sourcing, structuring, negotiation and deal management in addition to running specific accounts and facilitating prospecting initiatives to assist in driving incremental growth of the debt platform.

Prior to joining Timbercreek, Mr. Zimmer worked in the Real Estate group at BMO Capital Markets.

Mr. Zimmer completed his undergraduate degree at Western University and obtained his Master’s of Business Administration (MBA) from Ivey Business School.

Tahir Ahmed
Financial Analyst, Finance Operations

Tahir Ahmed joined Timbercreek in June 2023 as Financial Analyst.

In his role with Timbercreek, Mr. Ahmed is responsible for the PAP collection and distribution cycle, reconciling Trust accounts, and preparing reporting packages for the Trust entities.

Mr. Ahmed most recently worked for Romspen Investment Corporation as an Intermediate/Mortgage Accountant, where he was responsible for processing daily funding activities and recording them in systems, performing daily bank reconciliations, and maintaining the general ledger and various sub-ledgers.

Mr. Ahmed obtained his BSc (Hons) in Applied Accounting from Oxford Brooks University.

Bina Buonviso
Coordinator, Office Services

Bina Buonviso joined Timbercreek in October 2023 as Office Services Coordinator.

In her role with Timbercreek, Ms.Buonviso will be responsible for managing the day-to-day Office Services requirements for 25 Price Street which includes coordinating repairs, maintenance, property upkeep, managing our corporate cell phone account, managing our website, and assisting with our corporate IT.

Ms. Buonviso most recently worked for Deloitte as Workplace Services Professional where she welcomed clients into the office, assisted customers who called in, and was responsible for issuing guest passes in conjunction with internal staff and building security. Prior to this she worked at Starlight Investments as a Receptionist, and Mat 4Site Engineers as an Administrative Assistant of Financial Services.

Hilary Cameron
Manager, Corporate Governance and Legal

Hilary Cameron joined Timbercreek in October 2019 as Receptionist.

In her current role as Manager, Corporate Governance and Legal Clerk, Ms. Cameron is responsible for assisting with corporate and investment-related compliance obligations, corporate governance, and board related services in relation to Timbercreek’s public company, overseeing regulatory requirements across Canada and US, insurance renewals across multiple entities, executing legal contracts and documents, and fund creation.

Ms. Cameron has numerous years of customer service and administrative experience, including working as an Executive Personal Assistant & Event Coordinator.

Ms. Cameron obtained her Bachelor of Arts from Queen’s University.

Kim Casey
Senior Manager, Global Mortgage Funding

Kim Casey joined Timbercreek in December 2010 as a Mortgage Administrator.

In her new role as Senior Manager, Global Mortgage Funding, Ms. Casey will further expand her leadership of the Mortgage Funding team with a focus on onboarding and training new team members in support of business growth including our CMHC program.

Ms. Casey has played a central role in advancing our funding operations through her extensive industry knowledge and exceptional ability to manage multiple transactions with competing priorities.

Ms. Casey has 15 years experience in commercial mortgages. Prior to Timbercreek, Ms. Casey has worked at First National and MCAP.

Amy Cheng
Manager, Finance Operations

Amy Cheng joined Timbercreek in July 2025 as Manager, Finance Operations.

In her role with Timbercreek, Ms. Cheng will be responsible for TMSI reporting functions including its trust accounting mandates and supporting TF operations and reporting functions.

Ms. Cheng has most recently worked for Home Trust Company as Senior Financial Analyst where she was responsible for full month-end and quarter-end close processes across key accounting functions, and deepened IFRS 9 expertise by leading the validation and reporting for residential and commercial mortgage portfolios. Prior to this, she worked as a Financial Analyst at Home Trust Company.

Ms. Cheng obtained her Bachelor of Accounting and Financial Management, Honours, with Distinction from the University of Waterloo, along with the Master of Accounting. Ms. Cheng is also a Chartered Professional Accountant of Ontario.

Jonathan Chin-Fook
Senior Mortgage Administrator

Jonathan Chin-Fook joined Timbercreek in May 2019 as Mortgage Administrator.

In his role with Timbercreek, Mr. Chin-Fook is responsible for ensuring the system integrity on the service platform, assisting with the loan renewal process, and facilitating External Relations with Investors, solicitors, and borrowers.

Prior to working at Timbercreek, Jonathan interned at Ministry of the Attorney General Office at their Crown Attorneys’ Office in North York. Mr. Chin-Fook has successfully completed his P1 Licensing examination to be a Licensed Paralegal and Notary Public in Ontario and is actively working towards his CFA and FMVA Designations.

Mr. Chin-Fook is bilingual in English and French and obtained a Bachelor of Social Sciences from the University of Ottawa. Mr. Chin-Fook is a Licensed Mortgage Agent #M19002463

Kelly Duan
Senior Financial Analyst, Finance Operations.

Kelly Duan joined Timbercreek in August 2022 as Finance Analyst, Finance & Operations.

In her new role, as Senior Financial Analyst, Finance Operations. Ms. Duan will take on elevated responsibilities for Timbercreek Financial supporting various debt operation mandates.

Ms. Duan worked for Stern Cohen LLP as a Staff Accountant, where she was responsible for conducting monthly cash reconciliation, providing investment account support for the audit and tax team, and summarizing and reconciling management fees for clients on a quarterly and annual basis. Before this, she worked at Cheung & Associates CPAs Professional Corp as a Intermediate Staff Accountant & Business Advisor, and Outlook Accounting & Tax Ltd. as a Junior Staff Accountant.

Ms. Duan obtained her Master of Management with a Major in Accounting & Finance from University of Windsor and is a CPA.

Subho Ghose
Software Developer and IT Support

Subho Ghose joined Timbercreek in November 2025. As Software Developer and IT Support. 

In his role with Timbercreek, Mr.Ghose will assist with IT support and management, software development and reporting enhancements with Power BI.

Mr. Ghose has most recently worked for Glocal Foundation of Canada as a Data Engineer where he was responsible for designing and deploying 10+ automated Power BI/Tableau dashboards, and building scalable ETL pipelines using Python, SQL, dbt, and Snowflake to integrate MySQL and Hadoop datasets for analytics. Prior to this, Mr. Ghose worked as a Data Engineer at Clicked and Salesforce Data Engineer at Scotiabank.

Mr. Ghose obtained his Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Engineering from Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology, and his Masters in Computing Science, Specialized in Multimedia from University of Alberta.

Prasad Gokhale
Director, Innovation

Prasad Gokhale joined Timbercreek in August 2023 as Director, Innovation.

In his role with Timbercreek, Mr. Gokhale is responsible for the overall application strategy and design including migration of applications and servers to the cloud, business process design as it relates to applications as well as the multi-year IT architecture strategy.

Mr. Gokhale most recently worked for BMO Bank of Monteal as Director, Portfolio Architecture and Solution Design, where he was responsible for managing the overall application strategy, multi-year planning and business aligned digital transformation target architecture and roadmap for finance, taxation and treasury. Before this, he worked at CIBC as Senior Manager, Application Services, Dev Lead and Solutions/Technical Architect, and St. Joseph Media as Senior IT Director, Information Technology and Solutions Architect.

Mr. Gokhale obtained his Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from University of Pune, his Master of Science in Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from University of New Brunswick, and his Ph.D. in Mechanical/Systems Engineering from University of New Brunswick.

Diana Horvat
Senior Manager, HR & Office Administration

Diana Horvat joined Timbercreek in February 2015 as an Executive Assistant.

In her current role as Senior Manager, HR & Office Administration Ms. Horvat is responsible for the day-to-day HR activities at Timbercreek, including payroll, benefits administration, and recruitment, as well as overseeing the Executive Assistant and Office Services teams..

Prior to joining Timbercreek, Ms. Horvat worked as an Executive Assistant at both Capital Investment Group and Avid Life Media. Before this, Ms. Horvat worked as a Ticket Operations Coordinator at Maple Leafs Sports and Entertainment.

Ms. Horvat obtained an Advanced Diploma in Entertainment Administration from Durham College and is currently enrolled in the Human Resources Management Program at George Brown College.

Nitika Jain
Administrator, Commercial Mortgage

Nitika joined Timbercreek in July 2024 as Commercial Mortgage Administrator

In her role with Timbercreek, Nitika will be responsible for updating mortgage information on the loan software, renewals, syndications, and follow-ups and addressing client requests.

Nitika most recently worked for Vukets and Associates as a Client Service Associate where she reviewed term sheets and credit facility agreements and recording them into Salesforce, engaged with clients to maintain regular updates on their files, and compiled annual reporting requirements. Prior to this she worked for Bank of Nova Scotia as Fulfillment Officer, Commercial Banking.

Nitika obtained her Bachelor of Commerce from Punjabi University, India, and her MBA from Sikkim Manipal University, India.

Marko Jugovic
Manager, Tax

Marko joined Timbercreek in June 2024 as Manager, Taxation

In his role with Timbercreek, Marko will be responsible for overseeing our tax compliance function and working closely with our third-party accounting firm to ensure all returns are filed, preparing corporate tax provisions, HST/GST filings and assisting in the execution of our tax planning particularly on our private funds.

Marko most recently worked for Deloitte LLP as a Senior Tax Analyst where he actively managed a portfolio of corporate clients, communicating with internal and external stakeholders, and ensured that preparation and review of all deliverables were completed on-time. Prior to this he worked as a Tax Analyst at Deloitte LLP and a Vehicle Collections Analyst at Ford Motor Company of Canada.

Marko obtained his Honours Bachelor of Commerce, Minor in Economics from McMaster University, DeGroote School of Business, is a Chartered Professional Accountant, and is expecting to complete his level 3 CPA, In-Depth Tax Program in July 2024.

Jayla Kennedy
Director, Finance

Jayla Kennedy joined Timbercreek in January 2018 as Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis.

In her new role as Director, Finance, Ms. Kennedy, lead the corporate finance and FP&A functions while also overseeing financial management and reporting for the Irish debt funds.

Prior to joining Timbercreek, Ms. Kennedy worked as a Junior Accountant at Tel-e Group. Before this, Ms. Kennedy worked for Duncan Ross Associates as an Accounting Assistant.

Ms. Kennedy holds a Bachelor of Commerce from McGill University and earned her CPA designation while placing on the Honour Roll of the nation-wide examination (Common Final Exam).

Candice Li
Manager, Finance Operations

Candice Li joined Timbercreek in October 2018 as Analyst, Finance & Operation.

In her new role, as Manager, Finance & Operations Ms. Li will be responsible for managing the reporting and treasury functions of Timbercreek Real Estate Debt – U.S. Fund (TRED – U.S.) and Timbercreek Real Estate Finance US Fund.

In 2022, Ms. Li transitioned to focus on the US private debt funds, where she continues to play a key role in ensuring accurate reporting and effective liquidity management. More recently, she was instrumental in launching Timbercreek’s investor platform to private fund investors.

Ms. Li obtained her Bachelor of Commerce majoring in accounting, minor in economic from McMaster University.

Shawn Luo
Director, Finance Operations

Shawn Luo joined Timbercreek in April 2018 as Manager, Finance Operations.

Mr. Luo has consistently expanded his role and contributions with Timbercreek.

In his new role, as Director, Finance Operations Mr. Luo continue to be responsible for overseeing $2 billion Canadian debt investment operations, including treasury, accounting, and financial reporting functions. Additional coverage includes overseeing fund operations on new funds launched under Timbercreek Alternatives. Over the years, Mr. Luo has embraced technology and new systems to drive improvements in finance operations.

Mr. Luo obtained his CPA, CA, Master of Management and Professional Accounting from the University of Toronto, and his Bachelors of Management and Organizational Studies from Western University.

Fiona Ly
Analyst, Finance & Treasury

Fiona Ly joined Timbercreek in September 2023 as Finance & Treasury Analyst.

In her role with Timbercreek, Ms. Ly is responsible for corporate entries, preparing monthly management packages, and preparing wire transfers and payments.

Ms. Ly obtained her Bachelor of Commerce, Accounting and Finance from Toronto Metropolitan University.

Piyumali Millewa
Supervisor, Accounts Payable

Piyumali Millewa joined Timbercreek in January 2023 as Accounts Payable Supervisor.
In her role with Timbercreek, Ms. Millewa is responsible for all aspects of the accounts payable function ensuring accurate and timely payment and coding of invoices.
Ms. Millewa obtained her Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting and Finance) from Deakin University in Melbourne, Australia.

Suchi Ram
Senior Financial Analyst, Finance

Suchi Ram joined Timbercreek July 2025 as Senior Financial Analyst.

In her role with Timbercreek, Ms. Ram will be responsible for the day-to-day corporate accounting function including recording and reviewing financial and investment transactions and preparing financial reports. Ms. Ram will also be responsible for the treasury function including consolidating cash forecasting, bank account management, and liquidity management.

Ms. Ram has most recently worked for KPMG as a Senior Accountant where was responsible for auditing financial statements in the consumer industries market and simultaneously managed up to five audit engagements ensuring effective and efficient completion of engagements with various competing deadlines. Prior to this, she worked as a Staff Accountant at Deloitte U.S. (India), and a Finance Analyst at IIFL Investment Managers (India).

Ms. Ram received her Graduated Major in Commerce and Accounting from University of Madras. Ms. Ram is also a qualified Chartered Accountant from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, and is CPA, CA Candidate.

Nicole Robinson
Receptionist & Office Administrator

Nicole Robinson joined Timbercreek in October 2021 as Receptionist.

In her current role as Receptionist & Office Administrator, Mrs. Robinson ensures the seamless operation of the office by managing boardroom setups, maintaining office supplies, she is the go-to person for employee office needs. She also coordinates travel arrangements, processes expense reports for executives, and assists Office Services with vendor management. Additionally, she plays a key role in organizing events both within and outside the office for employees and visitors.

Prior to joining Timbercreek, Mrs. Robinson worked for Mercenary Audio Inc. as an Executive Assistant, where she managed day-to-day office operations, answered, and directed calls to appropriate points of contact, and scheduled and coordinated meetings. Before this, Mrs. Robinson worked at Magic White Inc. as Receptionist/Service Coordinator, at Gowey as a Travel Consultant, and at Flight Centre as Travel Consultant.

Mrs. Robinson obtained her Diploma in Travel and Tourism from IBT College.

Laura Wheller
Senior Manager, Global Mortgage Servicing

Laura Wheller joined Timbercreek in March of 2010 as a Mortgage Administrator.

In her new role as Senior Manager of Global Mortgage Servicing. Ms. Wheller will further support the Mortgage Servicing team with a focus on enhancing efficiencies, employee growth, and compliance as we continue to grow our book of business.

Ms. Wheller has over 20 years’ experience in the Commercial Lending industry. Prior to joining Timbercreek Ms. Wheller worked at First National Financial LP as a Senior Commercial Funding Officer. Prior to that she worked at MCAP Financial Corp., as a Senior Commercial Mortgage Funding Officer.

Ms. Wheller studied Business Finance at Humber College.

Jessica Yang
Vice President, Finance

Jessica Yang joined Timbercreek in August 2020 as Senior Manager, Controller.

In her current role as Vice President, Finance, Ms. Yang is responsible for financial and management reporting and analysis, budgeting and forecasting, and the full accounting cycle of Timbercreek.

Ms. Yang most recently worked for W.P. Carey (New York, USA) as an Accounting Manager, responsible for reviewing accounting implications under US GAAP for complex domestic and foreign transactions, supervising and coaching a team of Senior Accountants, preparing and reviewing quarterly and annual consolidated 10Q/10K financial statements and supporting schedules, and preparing and reviewing detailed variance analysis of balance sheets, income statements, cash flows and foreign currency movements. Prior to this, Ms. Yang worked as a Senior Accountant for PricewaterhouseCoopers (Chicago, USA) and a Senior Accountant for KPMG (Toronto).

Ms. Yang obtained her Bachelor of Commerce from Queen’s University and is a CPA.

Bernie Billesberger
Associate, CMHC Multifamily Program

Bernie Billesberger joined Timbercreek in September 2025 as Associate, CMHC Multifamily Program. In his role at Timbercreek, Mr. Billesberger will focus on supporting the expansion of CMHC term and construction lending initiatives. He will also contribute to underwriting and assist with various responsibilities within the existing Timbercreek operations.

Mr. Billesberger has most recently worked for MCAP Financial as Senior Analyst, Development Finance where he was responsible for underwriting in excess of $500M in conventional financing structures for land acquisition and servicing and liaised with internal and external investors to facilitate syndicated mortgage loans. Prior to this, he worked as Account Manager, Construction Finance and Senior Analyst, Construction Finance at CMLS Financial and Bilingual Commercial Funder at First National Financial.

Mr. Billesberger obtained his Bachelor of Arts from University of Saskatchewan.

Shameelah Pirbuccus

Shameelah Pirbuccus joined Timbercreek in June 2025 as Associate, CMHC Multifamily Program. In her role with Timbercreek, Ms. Pirbuccus assists with underwriting, investor relations, individual loan due diligence, and capital markets activities.

Ms. Pirbuccus previously worked as Senior Bilingual Analyst, CMHC Underwriting at CMLS Financial where she was responsible for conducting in-depth analysis and appropriate due diligence to gain a solid understanding of the Borrower for CMHC loan applications. Prior to this, she worked as Senior Bilingual Commercial Mortgage Analyst at CIBC and Bilingual Mortgage Funding Officer at Scotiabank.

Mike Sagert
Executive Director, CMHC Multifamily Program

Mike Sagert joined Timbercreek in April 2025 as Executive Director, CMHC Multifamily Program. In his role with Timbercreek, Mr. Sagert assists with the development and launch of Timbercreek’s CMHC business. He plays an instrumental role in coordinating internal efforts as well as building relationships with external investors and CMHC.

Mr. Sagert previously worked for KV Capital as Vice President, CMHC Multifamily where he was responsible for the growth and development of the CMHC Multifamily lending platform. Prior to this, he worked as Vice President & Managing DIrector, CMHC Multifamily at CMLS FInancial and in various roles at Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation.

Yanni Karos
Analyst, Direct Real Estate

Yanni Karos joined Timbercreek September 2025 as Analyst, Real Estate.

In his role with Timbercreek, Mr. Karos will assist with providing investment analysis (modelling) and research, portfolio reporting and deal analytics. Mr. Karos will also be supporting ongoing asset management and monitoring of investments.

Mr. Karos recently graduated from Wilfrid Laurier University where he obtained his Honours Bachelor of Arts Economics, Minor in History. Yanni has most recently worked at CAPREIT as an Intern, Strategic Finance. Prior to this he worked at AXIA Ventures Group as a Summer Analyst, Equity Research, and Finneo as an Associate, Business Development.

Fraser McEwen
President, TC Alternatives

Fraser McEwen joined Timbercreek in August 2023 as President, Timbercreek Alternatives. In his current role, Mr. McEwen is responsible for leveraging the broader Timbercreek platform to bring existing strategies and other unique investment solutions to wealth management and family office channels.

Mr. McEwen has over 26 years of experience in the investment industry. Prior to joining Timbercreek, Mr. McEwen was Co-Founder and Partner of Slate Securities LP, an investment management firm dedicated to real estate investing. Before that he held the position of Director, Retail Capital Markets at GMP Securities where he was responsible for the origination, structuring and distribution of new issue offerings and prior to GMP he was Senior Vice President at HSBC Bank Canada where he led the structured derivatives solutions group. Mr. McEwen’s career began in portfolio management at SVC O’Donnell Mutual Funds.

Mr. McEwen holds a Bachelor of Science degree from University of Western Ontario and has earned the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) designation.

Jake Ward
Associate Director, Business Development

Jake Ward joined Timbercreek in January 2026 as Associate Director, Business Development.

In his role at Timbercreek, Jake is part of the distribution team at TC Alternatives, where he works with financial advisors and investment professionals across the wealth management and high-net-worth channels. His role focuses on building long-term relationships and supporting TC Alternatives’ presence across Canada.

Prior to joining Timbercreek, Jake worked at Sun Life Global Investments and Mackenzie Investments in a variety of client-facing, support, and distribution-related roles, gaining experience working with wealth managers across the CIRO channel and supporting all aspects of their practices.

Jake holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Political Science from University of Western Ontario, has completed the Canadian Securities Course, and is pursuing the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) designation.

Matthew Burbridge
Vice President, Capital Formation & Real Estate Investments

Mr. Burbridge joined Timbercreek in February 2026 as Vice President, Capital Formation & Real Estate Investments. In this role, Mr. Burbridge is responsible for capital formation, including fundraising and new business initiatives, while also focusing on the sourcing and execution of new real estate investment opportunities.

Mr. Burbridge has over 20 years of experience in real estate investment and capital markets. Prior to joining Timbercreek, he was Founder and Principal of Pembroke Pacific, where he advised institutional GPs on capital formation and investment strategy. He also served as Managing Director, Investments at Realstar Group and Director, Investments & Capital Markets at Redcar Properties in Los Angeles. Mr. Burbridge’s previous experience includes senior acquisitions roles with Rockefeller Group and Property Group Partners in New York City. He began his career at Colliers International before joining the Real Estate Group at TD Securities.

Mr. Burbridge holds a Master of Science in Real Estate Finance and Investment (with distinction) from New York University and an HBA from the Ivey Business School.

Katrina Gorzheltson
Vice President, Investor Relations

Katrina Gorzheltson joined Timbercreek in July 2022 as Vice President, Finance Operations.

In her current role as Vice President, Investor Relations, Ms. Gorzheltson is responsible for coordinating all activities relating to investor communications and the marketing of Timbercreek’s strategies, the structuring of new investment vehicles, and the modification of existing investment vehicles.

Prior to working at Timbercreek, Ms. Gorzheltson spent 12 years in the real estate industry with the focus on mortgage financing and mortgage insurance. She worked in private and public sectors of various size and scale. Her areas of expertise include full cycle accounting, treasury management, corporate finance, financial reporting, regulatory compliance and investor relations.

Ms. Gorzheltson obtained her Bachelor of Commerce and Finance from the University of Toronto. She is a designated Chartered Professional Accountant (Canada), Certified Public Accountant (Illinois, United States) and a Certified Professional in Investor Relations.
